John Busacker
John Busacker is President of The Inventure Group, a global leadership-consulting firm, and Founder of Life-Worth, LLC, a life planning creative resource. He is a sought-after speaker and facilitator on self-leadership and personal engagement through executive education programs at Duke Corporate Education, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Minnesota Carlson School’s Executive Development Center.
His travels have taken him to six continents to work with leading organizations such as Medtronic, CJ Corporation of S. Korea, Ameriprise Financial, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, the Good Samaritan Foundation, Boston Children’s Hospital, Calvert Investments, Unum and The Pastoral Leadership Institute. John annually teaches in a variety of emerging faith communities and supports the development needs of leaders in Africa through the Duke Divinity School and PLI-International.
John is the author and architect of Life-Based Financial Planning™, a leading-edge system for aligning finances with life values and personal purpose, and Stewardshift™, an innovative workshop for teaching holistic stewardship practices. As a commentator on life/work issues, John has appeared in the The Wall Street Journal, L.A. Times, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Research magazine and Experience Life Magazine.
John is an avid explorer, occasional marathoner and novice cyclist. He and his wife, Carol, live in Minneapolis and have two sons, Brett and Joshua.
